Starting the schooling journey is a big step for children and parents. We recognise the importance of providing families with a smooth transition into Kindergarten and so provide a program which gives each child the opportunity to spend two mornings in the Kindergarten spaces at Wycliffe. During these mornings, our Kindergarten teachers will provide a ‘taste of Kindergarten’ with a variety of activities similar to those that children will experience during a usual day in Kindy.

Please note that this year COVID restrictions mean that we have limited opportunity with parents on site at the school. To help with this we have put together information folders for families to take home and read, rather than providing the information to parents in person.

COVID requirements this year also mean that for students to attend the Transition Program, the school needs to have received an enrolment form for them. If you have a student enrolled for Kindergarten in 2021 at Wycliffe, you should have received a letter confirming the dates for Transition for your child.
