About our Preschool

A place to think, solve, create, discover
and explore God’s world together.

Wycliffe Preschool is passionate about serving families through a quality Early Childhood program for children aged 3-5 years. We value children and see them as “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14) as curious, confident, creative, resilient, and competent learners. We seek to support and extend children by fostering their individual interests, strengths, needs and identities.

Nurturing character

We value a close partnership with parents as we journey together with our children through this crucial and exciting stage of their development. Our Christian teachers consider it a great privilege and responsibility to help children grow in their understanding of who they are, and their place and purpose in God’s world.

Play-based learning

Wycliffe believes that every child is unique and precious in God’s sight. We provide a safe and nurturing environment in which each child is loved and valued. Our classroom space and resources create play-based learning opportunities that stretch and engage inquisitive minds and active bodies. Our Preschoolers enjoy rich experiences and great fun as they play, explore, share and learn with one another.

Growing together

Being an integral part of the Wycliffe community, our Preschoolers regularly participate in wider school life. Children visit the Library, play and learn with students from the Junior and Senior Schools, and take part in special events like the Preschool to Year 2 Athletics Carnival and Book Week. This rich dynamic provides a smooth transition to Kindergarten and the ongoing learning journey through to Year 12.

Please note that as a Preschool which receives government funding, all students are required to be fully immunised.
